The last few years have seen a real revolution in the field of surgery endodontic. The use of the operating microscope, the appearance of ultrasonic inserts of different lengths as well as the development of new biocompatible materials allow a conventional endodontic procedure to be performed by surgery. The presentation will assess the scientific literature on the success of endodontic surgery by compared to conventional reprocessing. The most recent surgical techniques will be presented in detail (hemostasis, preparation, retro filling materials, etc.). Over many clinical cases will be presented, thus allowing a better understanding of the remarkable perspectives of endodontic surgery.

Part 1: Root resorptions are a phenomenon that is poorly understood and often poorly
explained in dentistry. What are the causes and how to diagnose them? How? 'Or' What
distinguish internal resorption from external resorption and what are the different
external variations? This conference aims to demystify root resorptions by
covering the etiologies, risk factors, diagnosis and management of different types of
resorption.
Part 2: Clinical examination and diagnostic imaging are essential components of the
preoperative diagnosis and treatment planning in endodontics. Currently, the
Two-dimensional periapical radiographs continue to be the most common imaging method
popular. However, their diagnostic potential is limited because of the structures
three-dimensional images compressed into a 2-D image. The advent of TVFC imaging allows
overcome the difficulties of imaging interpretation by allowing the clinician to visualize the
three-dimensional dentition and anatomical structures. This course will examine the use of
TVFC in endodontic diagnosis, management of periapical pathology, diagnosis of
pain, dental and root fractures, and treatment planning not
surgical and surgical.

Endodontics has been experiencing a wave of technological developments for several years,
thus facilitating the clinical steps to make them simpler, faster and more efficient.
However, sometimes the clinician must manage endodontic failure. What is the cause of this failure?
What is the next step? When to intervene and how?
This conference aims to clarify decision making by covering the following points:
1- Success rate and prognostic factors of root canal treatments
2- The causes of failure
3- The treatment options available and their indications
a- Root canal retreatment
b- Apical microsurgery
c- Intentional relocation
4- The necessary armamentarium
5- Clinical protocols

In recent years, many irrigation tools and techniques have been introduced to
to get a cleaner root canal system. However, the clinician is faced with a
variety of options, and it can be difficult to choose the best irrigation system without knowing
the properties and usefulness of each.
This presentation will cover the following aspects of irrigation:
1- The importance of irrigation in endodontics on a daily basis
2- Factors affecting delivery and disinfection: needle gauge, insertion depth,
concentration, volume, duration, etc…
3- The different types of irrigation solutions and their role
4- The different types of irrigation assistants and their effectiveness: Sounds (endoactivaor),
ultrasound (Irrisafe), negative pressure (Endovac), MaxWire technology (XP- # D Finisher), etc…
A variety of cases with clinical images and videos will be presented in order to better
illustrate the different concepts.
