Prognosis: Favorable<\/li>\n<li>Extraction. Prognosis: Favorable<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 id=\"tw-target-text\" class=\"tw-data-text tw-ta tw-text-medium\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Translation\"><span lang=\"fr\">Treatment Selection<\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The patient consented for\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/endostlaurent.ca\/en\/root-canal-treatment\/\"><b>root canal treatment<\/b><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"tw-target-text\" class=\"tw-data-text tw-ta tw-text-medium\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Translation\">The Treatment<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The procedure was completed in 2 visits with placement of Calcium Hydroxide as intra-canal medicament. The sinus tract had resolved by the second visit.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">The final irrigation protocol for both visits consisted of the following:\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">6% NaOCl followed by 17% EDTA which was then followed by 2% Chlorhexidine.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">It is well known that the prevalence of second Mesio-Buccal canals (MB2) in an upper molar is more than 90%. This case however not only had an MB2 but also an MB3, a third Mesio-Buccal canal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Without proper magnification and illumination via a dental operating microscope, finding this MB3 would not have been possible!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">All 5 canals, Palatal, Disto-Buccal, MB1, MB2, and MB3 were instrumented using the XP-3D Shaper file and obturated using cold hydraulic\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">condensation with Bioceramic Sealer.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<style type=\"text\/css\">\n\t\t\t#gallery-2 {\n\t\t\t\tmargin:
